Many of us remember when the Verde River was listed as one of America's Most Endangered River. American Rivers has just release their current list of the Most endangered rivers.

One Man's Treasure: Youth Show Prospectus

In the past five years of Prescott Creeks organizing the annual Granite Creek Cleanup we have seen consistently large amounts of trash removed from our creeks and lakes. This year we will separate true‐trash from potential upcycle‐able art supplies to be used by community members. The art will then be displayed as part of an exhibit, culminating in an art auction and show.

The Prescott Creeks organization on Thursday presented to the public it's new booklet, Creek Care: Your Stewardship Guide to the Granite Creek Watershed.

'Creek Care' booklets coming soon

The "impaired" status of Prescott's Watson Lake comes not from a major polluter, say the experts, but rather from the little things - the fluids leaking from a car, the pet waste left in a wash, the fertilizer used in a garden.

Because of the extensive watershed that feeds Watson Lake, many of the byproducts of urban life ultimately end up in the lake.

Write A Letter for Watson Woods

Arizona Water Protection Fund is in jeopardy and your help is needed. During this past legislative session, the Arizona Legislature voted to permanently eliminate general fund appropriations to the program. This is of critical importance to Prescott Creeks and Watson Woods Riparian Preserve.
