Some suggestions on where you can go to enjoy the creeks.

Aspen Creek

Click on the map below for details and directions to local creek destinations.

Aspen Creek
As the name implies, one is likely to see stands of Aspen trees along this creek. Aspen Creek flows out of the Sierra Prietas from the Mount Francis area and joins Granite Creek near the intersection of Copper Basin Rd. and White Spar Rd.

Directions
From White Spar Rd. follow Copper Basin Rd. until reaching the Prescott National Forest border. Continue for several more miles watching for the Aspen Creek Trailhead on the left. Visitors can follow informal trails along the creek itself, or take the Aspen Creek Trail which climbs up to the ridge separating the watersheds of Aspen and Manzanita Creeks.
