Regardless of your age, all of Prescott's creeks are ripe with the potential for learning and discovery. The creeks are one of the best places to be in the summer time. There's shade and there's water; both of which make it much cooler than the surrounding uplands. Sometimes the temperature difference can be as much as 20 degrees.
There are many activities do along the creeks. Bird-watching and hiking are favored by many. Take a field guide and a pair of binoculars with you, or just enjoy the cool and the quiet. Or, the next time you're running errands downtown, try parking your car and taking one of the "creek routes."

By clicking on the links above you'll find a few suggestions about where to go, what you might see, and a few items that you should consider taking with you. Enjoy your creekside visit!
