Lynx Lake
While not a part of the Upper Granite Creek Watershed, Lynx Creek
and Lynx Lake are definitely worthy of mention here. This creek drains
the area east of Spruce Mountain and flows to the north and east before
joining the Agua Fria River. Lynx Lake is an ideal spot to paddle
a kayak, walk the trail around the lake, or follow the creek upstream
or downstream. Osprey commonly nest on platforms erected in the lake.
During the winter of 2001/2002 a pair of Bald Eagles on the platform
and the Osprey moved further downstream! The lake is managed by Prescott
National Forest and a $2 fee may be required.

Lake on the left. Turn left into the lake are.
