Upper Granite Creek
The upper reaches of Granite Creek are mostly on Prescott National Forest lands and can be seen along White Spar Rd. (Hwy. 89 South). A visitor might find the remnants of an apple orchard, evidence of historic mining, or any number of birds. An informal trail follows the creek from School House Gulch almost to its headwaters.

Follow Hwy. 89 South from town and watch for Granite Creek on the left-hand side. Parking is available at School House Gulch Rd., or further upstream at Ponderosa Rd.
