Ian Thompson

I am the “IT Specialist” otherwise known as the “Computer guy”. I look after Prescott Creeks' technical systems and make sure everything is running smoothly. I started at Prescott Creeks as a work study student through Prescott College. This job is a perfect fit for me, as it gives me opportunities to further my technical skills while making a contribution to the ecology of the Prescott area. My favorite creek is Granite. It’s the closest creek to where I live, and arguably the most noticeable in Prescott. All of the water that runs through Granite Creek is run-off from the collective landscape of the Granite Creek Watershed. In an obscure way, that's a source of connection for everyone living here.
